Once again before the new year begins, I must mention Larry Young's out-of-print-since-1973 Lawrence of Newark, on the Perception label, rereleased in 2002 by Sanctuary Records. A little disappointing that it hasn't cropped up on any top ten lists, YET... Has ANYONE else HEARD this? It's cheap (under $13), and unfortunately it includes no bonus material so it's pretty short, less than 40 minutes. Early NYC downtown fusion at its best.
