Having re-subscribed for a few bucks a year, I was pleasantly surprised to read a great article about the "unironic" Mr. Frisell in the current issue of The Atlantic. The author left out key recordings and collaborations, likely a reflection of the larger fan base Frisell has picked up over the past few years. As a long time fan, understood - I started listening to Frisell for his surf-sonic death-twang licks with Naked City. Now I'm enjoying for the sonic twang. Bob still playing: Coleman Hawkins, Dali
