Can somebody please recommend me a record to start with for the following artists: Christian Fennesz Sachiko M Martin Tetreault Also after hearing Toshimaru Nakamura in duo with Keith Rowe on "Weather Sky" (Erstwhile) I want to get more Nakamura discs but don't know which one to chose. Here's the list of CDs I can order. I would be happy to know your opinion about them or any other records featuring Nakamura. solo "No-input Mixing Board 2" (A Bruit Secret) duo with Sachiko M "Un" (meme) duo with Sachiko M "Do" (Erstwhile) Repeat "Temporary Contemporary" (For 4 Ears) Also have anybody heard the s/t record of False Face Society on Incus. I'd say go with Particles and Smears with Kevin Drumm or 21 Situations with Otomo Yoshihide.

I know these two and I would probably recommend "Do" first. It's fabulous, but "Un" is very good too.
I monitor an electroacoustic list at yahoo groups that might be of interest to you. You could raise this topic further over there. It's a restricted list (to keep out spam and other riff-raff), but everyone who likes this kind of music is welcome to join.
