has anyone heard the new Arto Lindsay? Even if it does just sound like his last few, is it still good?

No, no, no. It sounds even worse than his last few! I didn't even make it to the end of the record. For me, it just sucks. Can't be more diplomatic. I don't think I'll ever pay attention to Mr. Lindsay again, at least if he goes on with this brazilian stuff. I don't think he's really adding nothing new to the bossa tradition, although it seems to be his intention.

Continuing the worst album question - a different question is - what album did you hear that you thought was absolute crap but then turned into an album that you really love?

It happened to me with "The Gift". Not that I love it now, but I find it a good record after giving it more chances than the initial listening, after which I though "Zorn is just getting old". I remember seeing a Tom Waits video many years ago (I was probably ten or even under) and I just hated him - his voice scarred me! It was only two or three years ago that I decided to forget that trauma and give him a chance. I've bought most of his albums since then.
