I don't know if any of you would own up to watching the appalling soft core movie Emmanuelle. If you listen to the soundtrack you will find that large sections of the music are re-recorded musak versions of two Henry Cow tunes! I mentioned this to Chris Cutler a few years back but I think the ownership of the film is so complicated that it is too late for them to do anything about it. Any other surprise soundtrack appearances? Richard G
Actually, there's a sequence in "Emmanuelle" were the soundtrack totally sounded to me like King Crimson's "Larks Tongues in Aspic". Someone was listening to a lot of prog at the time. I recall hearing that it was in "Emmanuelle II", and that is was indeed copped from there. I wonder if anyone put out soundtrack CDs for these. I'd love to hear them.
