Can anyone reccomend any Ike Turner records or collections from early in his career when he was playing some excellent guitar? I've heard a few tunes here and there, but have never known what to look for.

Two pretty good ones you might try are "Trailblazer" (King Masters KCD 6017) and "Rhythm Rockin' Blues" (Ace CDCHD 553), both under the name Ike Turner and His Kings of Rhythm. You can get more info and order them from www.rootsandrhythm.com. Hope this helps, Franklin Jones
