I've used Musicmatch for quite awhile for ripping mp3s. I've been very happy with its speed (upwards of 30x), quality, and CDDB lookup. What I'm not happy with is their constant need to upgrade and expensive prices. Does any one know of a good quality ripper that even approaches the speed of MM. CDDB features would also be nice.

You should download Apple's iTunes from the Apple website. It works with both Windows and Mac and is much better than Musicmatch.
