I went to see Tyrone Hill's Deep Space Posse (a 30 year Arkestra tromboner) last night featuring Andrew Voight. There were more than few girls there and the drummer was a woman, though i don't remember her name. it was a cool show. serge btw, if anyone is going to CNMAT tonight to see Gianni Gebbia, Fred Frith, Matthew Goodheart, Garth Powell, and happened to be taping it, I WOULD LOVE A COPY. I saw a trio version of this group (without frith) on Sunday night and it was phenominal. and i'm sure adding frith can do no harm...

I was just wondering which of the artists that are mentioned on this list draw the most girls to the live shows. The most I have seen was at Mark Ribot and the Cubanos although Lovage's performance seemed to have a lot too.
