A couple of months ago I saw the reunion of the Stooges - and I have to say that they were incredible. On a scale of ten, Iggy and band were a 20! They just focused on the first two albums (nothing from Raw Power) and it was just a powerful performance. I am not sure what the reasons are - it could be just me - but I am starting to really admire artists who are in their 50's and still doing knockout performances or recordings. On the pop/rock level I really like the last Bryan Ferry, Bowie, Dylan albums. The Stones, which I haven't enjoyed since their 60's recordings, is the one band that doesn't do it for me - but I haven't seen their recent shows.
