There is this very obscure LP from 1964 by 'the Vampires' called 'At the monster ball'. It's kind of r 'n b/surfinstro with samples of a horror movie. It's one of my favorite records and it's very hilarious. Joe Meek Tornados/Moontrekkers/BlueMen fans will dig it. Alas, I can't find much on the internet except some mentions of it. I downloaded the record of basichip.com a couple of months ago. Does anybody know something about this record? Who played on it, did they form other bands, is there more by them?
