Help with Cecil Taylor's CELL WALK FOR CELESTE and NEW YORK CITY R&B
Does anybody know when Cecil's Taylor's CELL WALK FOR CELESTE was released first? Same question for NEW YORK CITY R&B? As you know, both records contain sessions from 1961, but it looks like that contrary to other Candid records, these were released much later (I think that NEW YORK CITY R&B? was released first on Barnaby in 1971, but this is still a guess). Any help to clarify this would be welcome! Patrice. PS: Just learnt that Lizzy Mercier Descloux died last month... She was 48.

Might want to look at this one too: http://www.shef.ac.uk/misc/rec/ps/efi/mtaylors.html
Patrice: Don't have the other, but my Barnaby LP of NEW YORK CITY R&B has liner notes written by Nat Hentoff dated November 1971 which state: ".. this session produced for Candid, has never been released before". regards, Ken --- "Patrice L. Roussel" <proussel@ichips.intel.com> wrote: >
