HI, Some perfectly playable in a record store: Zorn: "Filmworks VIII" (Bar Kokhba Ensemble+Cyro Baptista/Kenny Wollesen percussion duo) "filmworks IX" (Saft/Baptista/Speed) "filmworks X" (Saft/Baptista/Friedlander) "The Circle Maker" (specially "Zevulun" with the sextet. No fireworks at all) Fred Frith "Pacifica" (w/ Eva Kant Ensemble: very quiet and some nice recitation in Spanish in the last section) Susie Ibarra "Flower after Flower" (her only good recording to date? :-)) Anthony Coleman's Sephardic Tinge (any of the three Tzadik releases) Oren Bloedow/Jennifer Charles "La Mar Enfortuna" (sensous vocals and pop-oriented Jewish roots) Davka "Judith" Bobby Previte "the 23 constellations of Joan Miró" The ones you mentioned will be fine too. i need some recommendations! i am sometimes working for a record store and i need some recommendations which tzadik cds i can play in the store. some kind of easy listening tzadik. i figured out that you can play zorn's "the gift", steven bernstein's "diaspora soul" and all the tim sparks recordings. i need music that isn't too difficult to listen to...

if you know any further "tzadik for lovers" discs, please let me know...
