Friends, Usually I read to keep up-to-date, but I had to write in and respond to Ricardo's message. I live down here in Alabama (and yes, we wear shoes BTW), and I got together a couple of musicians and played through some Zorn compositions that I transcribed, and that was everything from Naked City to MST, Filmworks pieces, Bar Kokhba, and Masada. But we called it "Zornography: The Music of John Zorn". Anyway...if you guys are serious about getting something together to present to Zorn, drop me a line. If not, it's still a nice thought. Sincerely, ---Nathan Holaway

Just an idea: what do you think about organizing a non-profesional music tribute to john zorn?
the idea is this: do the same as the anyversary series, a tribute os zorns compositions, but the interpeters are non-musitiens, but people from this mailling list!
then we gather the contributions & offer zorn at a show or something to see if we get sued or what?
what do you say?
thanks anyway for your atention
