I dont remember ever reading something here about this magnificent Japanese orchestra. They are on tour in Europe nowadays (here in Amsterdam tonight actually) , and I strongly recommend them. Imagine a >20 people band, with several (butoh) dancers playing music that covers a vast range of styles- from 60's free jazz to electric-funk Miles, to Hendrix electricity, to Magma, to free improvisation. And all these accompanied by impressive dancers, traditional Japanese butoh to cabaret girl styles. Simply a show not to miss. My question is: how can I get sone of their recordings? I only have the live 3CD that they were selling at their shows in 2000, but from what I found out from the Jamanese improvised music homepage, they have several more CDs. Any hints welcome! manolis
