YES!!!! Double Nickels on the Dime is one of the greatest albums of all time... My favorite "a boy and his guitar" albums for me are any by Black Flag!!! In fact I can't put down my guitar with the new "Rise Above" Black Flag tribute record. Schuller

Anything with Joey Baron, of course. I think John McEntire's drumming on Tortoise records is hot stuff, too. And of course this isn't within the last five years, but my top "a boy and his drum set" record of all time is the Minutemen's "Double Nickles on the Dime." Holy shit, it's almost 20 years ago now. I still miss D. Boon.
