I thought Joey wrote "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg" and Johnny didn't like it, hence the parenthetical name (My Brain is Hanging Upside Down). As a group,I don't think they ever gave off a real cohesive political stand. I don't think most of their lyrics (including "Blitzkrieg Bop" - thanks for those lyrics) really are advocating anything in any real sense.
