In 2.5 hours: Marc Ribot: book of heads. cant wait!!! Last night, at the Index of Styles concert, Marc Ribot played a couple of tunes (i was shamefully late and missed part of his show). He sung a cowboy song (preceded by a comment on real cowboys and the Bush family who are bankers from Cincinatti and not cowboys from Texas), which was very beautifully sad. The lyrics were about a cowboy who was asking not to be buried on a great prairie but on a green field. however when he dies he is buried on a prairie. Even though I might have very well missed parts of the story that was the line. Anyone recognizes the song? Gary Lucas had a good show as well. manolis
