Hi. I saw both of the D.C. shows. Both of them were really good. They mentioned during the matinee that they were using borrowed equipment and cheap equipment they had just bought (e.g., Sasaki's $199 bass) but it all sounded really good. They managed to squeeze every last bit of sound out of their equipment as possible. I'm still not terribly familiar with all their songs so I don't know what they played but I heard from somebody that it was a good mix of old and new. Both shows were about 45-50 min. long with one short song for an encore each time. The matinee had a lot of short songs while the late one seemed more stretched out and improved. When Ruins, Acid Mothers Temple, etc. hit Europe later this year, everyone out there should make arrangements to go! It should be a great show. D.R.
