When a movie I worked on comes out, people always ask "what part did you do?" and I usually hate answering, because the answer usually involves convolution integrals or implicit function surfaces or worse. But in this movie, in addition to doing some light transport and sampling theory, I'm the Daxophone soloist! The movie is about a Clown Fish's father, who goes on a quest to find his lost son. In his travels he has a scary encounter with an Angler Fish, whose menacing growl (Growl? Under water? What can I say; it's a cartoon.) is the sound of me playing my home-built double-neck Daxophone. It's only on screen for a few seconds, so it's easy to miss. (But stay until the end of the credits for a bonus...)
