Hi, The Brubeck cover is totally different from the normal Ruins material. In fact, I'd say it's one of their most unusual things so far. Anyway, I recommend the following: "Burning Stone" (Very rockish, and more simple than the later stuff" "Pallascthom" or "Tzwonborgha" for their newer stuff. The live one on Tzadik, because you get them in full force And be sure to get the versions released by Yoshida himself (available through his webpage) They have cooler covers, and often excellent bonus material. But nothing beats seeing them live. It's so much better than any recording. Probably the coolest band I have ever seen. _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8. Please excuse my multiple messages. For some unknown reason, OS X's Mail app wigged out and sent my query four times. Proof positive that even the best operating system on the planet still has its share of quirks... ;) Cheers, Vince Heavy Rotation: Mr. Brinkman TRANSMITTENS
