There was a similar exhibit at the Art Alliance in Philadelphia a few years ago. If you can get to it, go; it was amazing. Even my parents thought it was incredible (and they are not art buffs). There is certainly more to his photography than the gory crime scene photos. He was a master at capturing candid human emotion and using his photographs to comment on societal inequity.
