Re: The Residents
I saw the Residents in 2000 or 2001 in boston. They played at a medium sized concert hall that part of one of the Universities or Colleges (I don't remember which one it was) but it was either on Newbury Street or off of Newbury Street. There definitely wasn't 2000 people there but it was a decent turnout. I'm going to guess around 500 but i'm not very good at estimating numbers of people. Sorry that I'm being so vague but it was a couple years ago. You guessed it, it's an older crowd. I was the youngest person there, I was in High School at the time. The reason why the Residents play in larger venues like auditoriums/concert halls is because of their stage show. They definitely are not a club or bar act. When I saw them they had a large video projection screen and screens that obscured the appearance of the musicians when the stage lights were on. It was a great show. Don't be turned off by the venue, it is necessary. Get there early/buy a good ticket and get a good seat. -Adam Morosky NP: Today is the Day - Temple of the Morning Star earlier This Heat - Made Available: The John Peele Sessions _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your messages with MSN 8.
