I wanted to let Zorn List subscribers (especially those in or near Toronto) know about a project we're organizing here. Open Cobra Vol.1 is an evening in two parts, revolving around Cobra. The first part of the evening will be a performance of Cobra, accompanied by a thorough explanation of the rules. The second part of the evening will be a fully participatory event (no spectators) where audience members are invited to partake in a series of vocal improvisation games leading up to a participatory performance of Cobra. The event is part of an ongoing series called Room 101 Games, which investigates different ideas about games and participatory culture. The event will take place on June 13 at the Drake Hotel.
