As we all know, John Zorn has done a lot of film music throughout his career. However, recently, I rented one of the best German movies out there, "Funny Games". I had originally seen the film years ago, and was blown away by this movie. After watching it again the other night, they actually used the cut "Bonehead" off of Grand Guinol. There is one scene where one of the killers is looking for his victim in this huge house. It's great because the killer says to his victim, "I'll put some music on for us." If I was being chased, and if I were to hear my killer put on Grand Guinol, I would realize the end is inevitable. Just wanted to share with my fellow Zorn listeners.
