Not only have I come across it, but one of its members Tom Recchion has designed my TamTam Books series. The cover for its three books so far as well as the work inside the third title: Guy Debord's 'Considerations on the Assassination of Gerard Lebovici.' And no, I wouldn't even allow my best friend to borrow the package. The music is superb as well as being a fascinating history of avant-garde Los Angeles during the punk years. I strongly suggest to get the boxset not only for it's look (which is smashing) but also for its music. I met Tom in the 70's via the music in this package - and it is something that gave me fuel for what I am doing now as well as pure enjoyment (now and then).
I am curious if anybody on the list owns this 10 CD boxset. I have recently ran across it in a number of design journals (I am a graphic designer) and was intrigued by the layout of the discs and related pieces. Upon searching the internet I found the box may be up my alley in not only design but the music. However I am very unfamiliar with anybody who is featured on the box and being a college student 2 weeks from graduation I can not afford the price tag unless its really worth it. However if anybody out there is willing to part with their copy please get in contact with me. Darryl Norsen -- Tosh Berman TamTam Books http://www.tamtambooks.com
