I've never known either. There's a website here: www.hipsroadedition.com, that features Zorn's classical compositions, but to be honest, it doesn't clarify too much, if anything. I'd also appreciate if someone came up with a clearer explanation on this. Also, what was that label EVVA that appeared in some old Tzadik stuff?
