I do have this footage on dvd - and it comes with footage of T-Rex as well. It's worth getting - just to see Eno in the band with his tape machines. Plus cool fashion looks!
yeah, it's a great dvd, but what are those reel-to-reel machines doing? the tapes don't seem to change speed, or stop moving for that matter, and don't seem to correspond to the music in any way. i'm no expert, but my guess would be that it's an analogue sampler, in which case i don't think he's using them. i'm sure he did, but for the tv show i wonder if they're just cool props. would love to know otherwise. but manzinera's guitar ... i bought an epiphone copy of the gibson firebird after watching it. really. kg np: put your hand in the hand of the man (don't know who's doing it) _________________________________________________________________ Check your PC for viruses with the FREE McAfee online computer scan. http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963

Okay, now I know that my head is stuffed way too full of useless music stuff. I spotted immediately that the hit version was by something called Ocean, though it's been recorded by others, including Elvis. Eek.
Cancon alert The gospelly song was written by the late Gene McLellan a country/pop writer who also wroyte Anne Murray's megahit Snowbird. He did a version of it ("Put Your..") himself, featuring a bunch of Canadian studio funksters on a Capital LP in the late 1970s. And that's the only reason I keep that album around. Anita Bryant sings a great version of it in ROGER & ME. Well, "great" is the wrong word, but it's sure memorable. sh on 12/20/03 11:37 AM, Ken Waxman at mingusaum@yahoo.ca wrote:
