Err..perhaps I should have added that it's not particualrly inspired either. I don't just not like it because it's long. There are plenty of other 70 minute CDs that I love. Although given the choice I think we should all go back to 40 minute albums. If you can't say it in 40 minutes you're unlikely to be able to say it in 70. Discuss. -----Original Message-----

I came at it from a Ruins angle - I'm not very well versed in Haino, as it were. I found it all a bit exhausting to be honest. It's all improvised and at 70-odd minutes is far too long as it's all pretty full on. With some careful editing it could have been a lot better. Not essential by any stretch, but I'd be interested to hear what a Haino fan thought of it (is Alan Cummings still in the house?).
