Hi guys, Anyone have a copy of the Charles Tyler album called "Folk & Mystery Songs" or something like that? I think it was on Nessa. Ronnie Boykins on bass. If anyone has it and wants to part with it or is willing to trade a cd-r or something let me know. Or even if you know the exact title and label info that would be great. thanks, Rob
'Saga of the Outlaws'? 1976 release, Nessa LP 16, Earl Cross on trumpet, John Ore and Ronnie Boykins on bass, Steve Reid on drums. Don't have it, but remember it well from college radio days, and kinda wish I'd stolen it, given the way that particular radio station went... that LP must be nearly pristine, given that it had previously been sealed when I played cuts from it five or six times 16 years ago, and there's no evidence it's been played since. Damn fine album. Maybe you should e-mail Chuck Nessa himself, a very active Netizen: cnessa@earthlink.net.
