I like both, but prefer Sovlanut. Breadcrumb has a few annoying vocal pieces that I generally program around. Sovlanut is amazing throughout, Jim Black does some particularly spectacular dub-inspired drumming. Great record! -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dave Trenkel New and Improv Music http://www.newandimprov.com improv@peak.org -------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would go with sovlanut, its just a great record, jim black makes it really unique & the production of his set is really interesting. Chris speed plays clarinet on one track. Jon moran injects the whole project with his dubass that is also very unique. One question I have to others out there that like this record... What do you think of the tune in the middle of the disc that is very blown out, starts out with what sounds like a guitar played percussively then bass and drums kick in, it sounds like my speakers are about to burst and I like it! Its just so over the top, and very different from the rest of the album, but rounds it out in my opinion. What do you all think? jt
