Re: Henry Kaiser bagpipes
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone (Steve?) knew if there's a current release of the short track from Henry Kaiser's first LP Ice Death of 2 guitar version of the Bartok piece Bagpipes, originally composed as one of the 44 Duos for 2 violins. Thanks, Bests, Herb -- Herb Levy P O Box 9369 Fort Worth, TX 76147 herb@eskimo.com
that track is included on a 2 cd comp called playola. it's a promo and i don't know where you would find one. you can check it out at henry's website: www.henrykaiser.net. i heard he just played tonic, one night with jonas hellborg and lukas ligeti and the other with elliott sharp's blues band terraplane with melvin gibbs sitting in on bass and also glenn phillips from the hampton grease band on guitar. wish i was alot closer to nyc. sean I was wondering if anyone (Steve?) knew if there's a current release of the short track from Henry Kaiser's first LP Ice Death of 2 guitar version of the Bartok piece Bagpipes, originally composed as one of the 44 Duos for 2 violins.

I recieved a free copy of Playola with my last Wayside order. It was an unexpected surprise. Maybe it was because I ordered the Yo Miles! SACD? That was my only Kaiser related purchase at that time. It's well worth seeking out. - P. Serriano
