I caught CV at Royce Hall last night and, while not as mindbending as his 1999 show (which I saw at the Anson Ford), it was still really quite something. Jacques Morelenboim is one of the few cello players I can see in a pop mujsic situation without wincing. Has anyone picked up his LIVE IN BAHIA?
