Now, on to the actual albums:
Gang of Four- "Entertainment" - Probably the most important post-punk record
in both all-out freaking GREATNESS and influence, this hasn't been available
in America forever, and the imported UK copies sound effin' horrible.
Andrew,
This one was issued in the US combined with the "Yellow EP" by Infinite Zero/American reocrds in 1994. Although, with the kind of distribution this non-mainstream stuff gets, even by major labels (this is part of WEA) I'm not surprised if you were entirely unaware of it. This set of reissues also included Solid Gold/Another Day/Another Dollar, and Songs Of the Free. I'm not sure if there were others, but I have all 3 of these. Now please tell me where to find GO4's Live At the Palais on CD!
Dale.
