Debating the change in japanese culture is interesting, but how does McDonalds in Japan actually change the music scene? I dont see the relevance directly. If its concerning the change from a traditional Japan where musicians play gigs at local coffee shops to where artists have no place now because of Starbuck's i could understand. If it wasn't for culture spreading i would have never heard of John Zorn. And to all you worried about McDonalds spinging up all over the world dont worry many new suchi places pop up along with other ethnic restaurants (italian, greek, indian..etc)

I want to thank everyone (especially skip) who have given me insight to many artists, musicians, and styles of music. I dont always agree with what everyone says but enjoy the merits of your arguments. :)
