Personally, I'd also add Cyro Baptista. The reason I say so is that awhile back, I was listening to a Robert Palmer tune ("Aeroplane") at a friend's house and not only did I fall in love with the tune, but I immediately thought of Cyro Baptista. When I looked at the CD, sure enough, there was Cyro Baptista's name (spelled differently on the CD, oddly enough, as "Battista"). If I'm not mistaken, that was the only song on the album on which Cyro played, and I somehow recognized his style. Normally, I'm not particularly interested in percussion, but Cyro's talent somehow stands apart from the rest for me.
