===== Original Message From kev booyaka <ahairyscreaming@yahoo.com> ===== i'm all into Zaireeka myself these days, even though i only have one CD player, heh. talk about stripping your own music - that guts! there's one track in there with some keyboard horns and strings which proves that these guys could write a great symphony if they wanted!
hats of to Wayne Coyne & Co.
Being a huge Lips fan since "hit to death in the future head", I'm pleasantly surprised to see them suddenly pick up a bunch of popularity lately. Sure, they had their moment with "she don't use jelly" back in '94, but it seems like "the soft bulletin" and "yoshimi" have exposed them to a new audience and they're all appearing in "Maxim" and Dell commercials and junk. By the way- there's a great "Zaireeka" bootleg out there floating around that has all four discs mixed down to one stereo CD. I heard it once, but have never owned it. andrew
