Hi fellaw Zornlisters! I don't know how many of you are aware of this but here it goes. There is a new radio in Berlim which is not like other radios. Taking from the web, it strives for the "Open radio" concept, where you have an integrated platform to develop radio shows (meaning a web site and upload tool to a an archive of the shows to be broadcast, in web or real radio) and everyone can enter and participate. the software been developed for the radio is available to all (open source software philosophy). and this is also the idea for the shows being broadcast, to be available for retransmission, rework or whatever to everyone belonging to the radio or it's associates (the idea is to make a resource of open radios everywhere). so i think this is a great project for a radio, allowing the radio space to be used for something different than what we're generally confined to listen on radio. it's, in a way, a living thing, growing and evolving in radio form. take a look in www.reboot.fm reboot.fm has been broacasting through web stream and, in a 100 days project, at 104.1 in Berlim. The fm transmission will end in 29 days from today. there is a free frequence to be open to interested parties in Berlim at 106.4fm. Please visit and listen to reboot and sign the petition to the Berlim Senat to help this freq. to be attributed to reboot. for a world with real radios, Ricardo Reis "Non Serviam" n.p.: www.reboot.fm or www.resonancefm.com n.r.: <- Send with Pine Linux/Unix/Win/Mac OS->
