Hey everybody, maybe one of you guys can answer this: I have been watching Fred Frith's "step Across the Border", and I am wondering just what the hell that black box-type thing is on the headstock of his guitar. I've been playing guitar for years, and just can't seem to figure out what the hell that thing is. It's driving me crazytrying to figure out its' purpose.
