That sax player is Skerik, and while the Frog Brigade stuff is fairly mainstream funkrock, Claypool has joined Skerik as a guest on several of Skerik's projects. The Critters Buggin 6/2/01 show is a fine example of this. And sure, Claypool's sound is identifiable, and even in some cases predictable, but who here can't identify Zorn after a few seconds of hearing him. And also, to agree, Frog Brigade sounds very little like Primus, other than the Les Claypool bass.
