Gotta love all the love for saxophonists around here.

Skerik is a MUST see in terms of his live performance. I really love Ponga, Wayne Horvitz's band with Skerik, Dave Palmer and Bobby Previte. Also, Skerik was in a prog-punk bad (is that a good description???) called Sad-Happy. Very good stuff. Sad-Happy is a drum & bass duo (real drums and a real bass) that bring in different "third members." The last two albums they produced featured Micheal Manering (sic). Skerik's also been playing with REM's Peter Buck in Tuatara. I've never been able to get into 'em, but it is quality song writing.

PS Zorn is not as good a musician as Joey Baron!!!!! Baron is one of the best drummers alive!
