Richard et. al): It's an OK slab of early, mostly-Dutch, EuroImprov from June 1968. Haven't listened to it for a while, but think it's closer to American models than Euro players would be now. It's still worth getting, as long as it's not being sold for an arm and a leg. Still not the kind of CD to play for your mother, unless that is if your mother is a fan of Willem Breuker's Kollektief. Hidden under a beard in the cover photo is that band's Boy Raaymakers (trumpet, bugle and percussion on what was probably his first recording session. Other personnel: Peter van der Locht (soprano and tenor saxophones, flute, piccolo, percussion); Erwin Somer (violin, percussion); Ferdy Rikkers (bas, percussion); Pierre Courbois (percussion) Ken Waxman --- Richard Gardner <richard.gardner@colourtone.co.uk> wrote: > I recently saw an ESP Disk by the Free Music Quintet
in a secondhand store. The number is 1083. I think the date was around 1969. Does anybody know anything about this group, its members and whether its worth buying.
Thanks
