Well, put. Last year, I tried to rope a friend into going up to Chicago to see Tomahawk. I played a few cuts off of the first album for a friend. All she said was "Zach, that scares me." I was taken aback by that reaction. Sure I would have expected that from Naked City or even Bungle, but Tomahawk! The concert was fun and every one with me was very impressed with Patton. This was everyone's first exposure to Patton. His presence is really awe inspiring and that voice! They still play both bands on a regular basis. i tried to request Tomahawk but they told me they only play Patton's mainstream stuff. If Tomahawk is a commercial cd, why isnt radio touching it? i still hear Bungle on the radio all the time. Does that mean Bungle is commerical? and I really doubt Tomahawk are "trying" to go pop because as pop as it might seem to the regular patton crowd, to most it is very off the wall. --part1_b7.335107aa.2c2a140f_boundary Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <HTML><FONT FACE=3Darial,helvetica><FONT SIZE=3D2 FAMILY=3D"SANSSERIF" FACE= =3D"Arial" LANG=3D"0">wsou in nj has been playing fnm and bungle since the l= ate 80's.
