hi all, some are obvious, some arent french: The City of Lost Children (1995) Delicatessen (199?) Jean-Pierre Jeunet Both of these are the earlier works of jaunet, the director of Amelie. These are more dark but still very funny and comical. japanese: Tampopo (1986) Director: Juzo Itami Japanese noodle western, food obsessives must see this movie, make sure you have a ramen stand nearby for intermission Organ (1996) Kei Fujiwara Absolutely discusting movie, something about it was completely amazing in its pussy, dismembered glory. The whole movie felt wounded, Im sure zorn would have loved to score this movie. It was banned in japan for a number of years. Good Morning director: Ozu funny oldtimey movie like a cross between the brady bunch and something a lot more serious and deep. Rashomon director: akira kurosawa its worth just watching how the camera works wonders in this film. Everyshot is an amazing moving composition. Korean: Attack the Gas Station! (1999) Director: Kim Sang-jin very absurd movie, partly slapstick comedy korean style The Isle (2001) Director: Ki-duk Kim spooky lake retreat, some scenes involving fishhooks are very difficult to watch, floating cabins, fishing, parties, and one really beautiful korean woman who runs the boat and general store. jt __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
