A perverse thought. I've seen JZ two or three times, but only witnesseed the "blow up" once in the least concert hall-like of the venues. Does this mean that more serious fans show up for JZ's "soft seat" shows? Or does it mean that like Mingus' tirades at the band and Miles turning his back on the audience, Zorn fans *expect* JZ to throw a (shit) fit during his concerts? Does he look for the best opportunity to do so and the right person to direct it towards? ain't sho-biz wonderful? But Zorn seems to enjoy doing this in the cruellest ways conceivable.
