From: "Michael Brooker" <mind_train@hotmail.com> I'd like some good suggestions on what the best works by Prince are considered. I already have The Symbol album, Sign O' The Times, Crystal Ball, Emancipation, and Diamonds and Pearls and I also just ordered the "Crucial" bootleg out of curiosity.
You are way lacking in early Prince, so need to play catch-up! I'd say every album from PRINCE through LOVESEXY contains defining moments and would generally be deemed 'essential' by Prince aficionados. Certainly see allmusic.com for an overview. -- Vincent Kargatis np: Steuart Liebig - "the darkness of endless fall" (w/ Nels Cline) (POMEGRANATE)
