Speaking of books about war and terrorism . . . . I highly recommend Jean Baudrillard's the "Spirit of Terrorism." Quite insightful regarding the mechanisms that influence a hegemonic power like the U.S. and why the U.S.'s reaction is so violent and totalitarian regarding the events of September 11th.
