After seeing Hamid Drake "join" Painkiller I've become more interested in his work. Where is a good place to begin? By chance, yesterday or the day before that, I heard a very cool piece he did with William Parker, as a duo I believe. Slightly funky, with perhaps a bit of an afrobeat feeliing. What could it be?
