I didn't listen to it for years, but I remember Lou Reed live in Italy as a great album.  I'd file this one as the best Lou Reed album of the 80s with "New York", mostly thanks to the band, which has more edge as on the Blue Mask. The Velvet classics versions are quite painfull to listen to, but Quine and Fernando Saunders on bass (if I remember correctly) make this an excellent rock album.
