Has it degenerated to the point that we must point out the mere mention of Mr. Zorn to keep this list some what about him? There's no value judgment there (as I'm probably more "off topic" than on), just an observation.
one needn't necessarily say the list has 'degenerated' because of sporadic mention of its nominal raison d'etre. it could be that these seemingly unrelated tendrils have an indirect relevance to zorn's aesthetic m.o. As long as the digressions remain interesting, that is. I kinda dug that Dalkey Archive link -- that was the best thing to come out of the whole Bloom imbroglio. There's also the possibility that newcomers to the list like myself might be hesitant to begin discussions on the Man for fear of covering already well-trod ground. Bearing this risk in mind, does anyone know how to get a hold of the 'Cynical Hysterie Hour' TV show Zorn did music for? In the US, that is (with English subtitles?). Or, if someone's seen it, perhaps a description of some sort -- how worth pursuing is it? _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
