I see Greencine has DVDs called "Collected Shorts of Jan Svankmajer," Volumes 1 & 2. I had the good fortune of seeing "Alice" in a local cinema when I was an impressionable teen, and I can't recommend this guy's work highly enough. The BBC documentary, "Animator of Prague," is on Vol 2, and there's a VHS called "Scenes From the Surreal" with numerous shorts & the BBC doc. Chris Selvig
